Evie, once outgoing and full of cinematic dreams, has retreated into her home following a “wobble” that left her unable to leave for months. Her weekly film‑club nights, held in her mother’s garage and lavishly themed to match each movie, become her refuge. When her longtime friend Noa reveals he’s moving away for a dream job, Evie is forced to confront whether their relationship has always been more than friendship. Balancing her mental health, unspoken feelings, and her family’s eccentric dynamics (her fiercely loving mother Suz, sister Izzie, and on/off boyfriend Josh), she must decide whether to stay safe — or risk everything for a chance at connection.
