Tenacious Sgt. Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) commands a tight-knit team of detectives, including bold Officer Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger), sharp Officer Kevin Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins), and complex Officer Dante Torres (Benjamin Levy Aguilar). All the while, Desk Sgt. Trudy Platt (Amy Morton) keeps the precinct in order.

This season, the Intelligence Unit adds a new team member, Officer Kiana Cook (Toya Turner), as they face new challenges while learning how to operate under the leadership of a new Deputy Chief of Police.
