The Doctor and Rose arrive on a world that should not exist… an impossible planet orbiting a black hole. Stranded alongside a human expedition and the mysterious Ood, they soon discover an ancient force stirring deep beneath the surface. As the darkness in the Pit awakens, the Doctor is pushed to his limits in a battle that will test his beliefs, his courage, and demand the ultimate sacrifice.
Presented here in a new movie-length edition, The Impossible Planet and The Satan Pit have been restored and expanded for the ultimate viewing experience. This special extended cut seamlessly restores deleted scenes alongside never-before-seen extended footage. Also included is an exclusive interview with director James Strong, recorded to celebrate the story's 20th anniversary, along with other special features.
